Muriel Street is a modern, purpose-built care home set in a leafy residential area in Islington, London. We provide permanent and respite residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as end of life care. We spend time getting to know your loved one, so that we can create personalised care plans that take into account their unique needs.

Our home has been designed specifically to meet residents’ needs. Our facilities include large dining rooms, hair salon, sensory room and several lounges for relaxing or taking part in activities. Our secure garden has raised flower beds and established trees, as well as a decked area, a patio and a range of seating areas.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

My mum is Italian, they had some Italian speaking staff who regularly spoke to my mum, she is more able to understand Italian people than English as dementia patients remember early days, so that's a nice touch.

From my point of view if there is anything my mother requires i.e., clothing etc they are more than happy to call me, and I drop those items to the care home. So, it is just keeping me up to date of her requirements. Little things like getting her hair and nails done to make sure my mum is happy and content.

Staff are very helpful and whenever I’ve gone there they have been kind, clean and tidy, they always keep in touch with the relatives and guardians.
